چکیده
A novel synthesis method of partially crosslinking a polymer solution prior to casting, has been successfully developed for the preparation solvent-tolerant nanofiltration (STNF) membranes. STNF merges solvent resistant (SRNF) with aqueous nanofiltration. The feed consists mixture solvent(s) and water, requiring membrane both high water permeability stability. In this work, epoxy resins are proposed meet these requirements. well-known curing bulk chemistry via ring-opening reactions applied followed by phase inversion process, form membranes intermediate polarity, excellent stability permeability, making them particularly suitable treatment solvent/water mixtures. Several monomers were screened, based on size number epoxide functional groups. Different amines varying length reactivity chosen as agent. Both reagents dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) left react. increasing viscosity was monitored function time related reaction rate epoxy-amine system. Integrally skinned asymmetric prepared non-solvent induced inversion. Filtration experiments carried out 20/80 formamide (DMF)/water mixtures Rose Bengal (RB, 1018 g mol−1), Rhodamine 6G (R6G, 479 mol−1) Methyl Orange (MO, 327 solutes. blend 2 epoxides, i.e. EPON 1009F (20 wt%) SU-8 (10 wt%), DMSO resulted RB retention 99+ % R6G 77% DMF/water permeance 0.75 Lm−2h−1bar−1. Polyethersulfone (PES)-based anion exchange blend membranes were prepared from quaternized-PES (Q-PES) and N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) casting solutions with water as coagulant via non-solvent induced phase inversion. The compatibility of the blend system was investigated through thermodynamic studies while membrane formation was determined using the cloud point techni...

In this work, the Interfacial interfacial polymerization (IP) technique was employed using terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) and p-phenylenediamine (PPD), as reactant monomers, to prepare poly(paraphenylene terephthalamide) thin film composite (TFC) nanofiltration on polyethersulphone (PES) support layer. The effects of six different anionic and non-ionic surfactants, in the aqueous phase on the mor...
